About that college vs. club team thing...

An interesting illustration of the problem of having a college team and a club team that people pick between:

Berea is hosting a tournament this weekend. LouEVIL couldn't get the numbers to send a team. And now, as it turns out, U of L also can't get the numbers to send a team. I guarantee that if there were one team drawing from our two pools of players, we would have sent a team. In fact, had I known about this a week ago, we would have sent a team. But I didn't, and we aren't.

It also appears that U of L is not sending a team to MonkeyBowl. Why? Because they lost a couple of guys to LouEVIL. Not a dozen, just two.

Unfortunately, neither of us are in the position to turn anybody away. Both teams are pretty much on the edge for every event. Who does this serve?

Steve, this may cease to be a predicament as the college team seems to be falling apart. I have talked to Ryan Watson and apparently they are getting a coach for next season (by the name of Chris Brackbill) but as far as the rest of this season is concerned, I think it's pretty much over. But yes for a while there I was torn between the two teams and wanting to play for both. And the college team actually would have lost about 5 players to LouEvil for MonkeyBowl: Boucher, Ben Parris, Ryan Watson, Mike Sendelbach, and myself. As it turned out, almost the entire college team ended up playing for LouEvil at NashVegas. It all started out very well for the college team but a lot of people flaked, so I'm told.

I'm also known as Daniel Ambrus to some of you.
