I'm not a computer wiz and can't find an appropriate place to put this comment. I realize what a pain it can be to update a website constantly... However, can we update this shit? There's stuff about a vision meeting that happend well over a year ago, some dude that doesn't even play with LUFA is posting, no one responds to posts from interested players, it'd be nice to know what teams play eachother for spring league and it's an amazing day today and I can't tell if there's pick up. As much as I've been directed to "check the website" for all things LUFA, really the only communication is a mass email and responses from folks who hit "reply all". It's poop I tell you.
Pick-up starts on Wednesday, even though it will get dark early. Pick-up is an open invitation ultimate game where sometimes no score is kept and teams may change between points. Everyone should come out regardless of skill level or association with LUFA. It is a great and free chance to play ultimate. The game starts at 6 but since the sun sets so early you may want to get out there early. Wednesday pick-up is held at the Cherokee Park ‘rugby field’ which we call Frisbee Field. The field can be found by turning into the park at the top of the hill on Lexington road. You can also find it by driving around the loop and looking for flying discs around 6pm, the field is on the opposite side of the loop as the Eastern Parkway entrance. Hope to see you all out there!
