Memorial weekend tournament - ColumbusEnd of May, Memorial Day weekend - what a great time to get away for a bit and enjoy yourself in the out of doors. Good people, I submit to you that there is no greater time to be had out of doors than at a competitive ultimate tournament. I ask you, what would possess them to distribute a picture of their boy so clearly about to be D'd up by ours? Or more importantly, I ask you why isn't this picture on OUR website? Anyway, before anybody goes making any half baked plans to not play ultimate that weekend, be aware of this tourney in Columbus. I am going to play ultimate this weekend in Columbus because playing Ultimate is fun. It is sad that our team didnt put a squad together :(. I have been looking forward to playing with everyone all winter. If you wanna go Email me before 10 at hyeager at wooster dot edu. I am basically going to see my usual crowd of Ultimate friends up there and i have a place to stay with a divver included!! i will miss everyone.
I am not really sure what to do about this team we have or dont have. I am not gonna let it stop me from going to as many tournaments as i can while i am young and have no wife/family.
I dont really know what i could possibly say that could make poeple come to tournaments. I will say this, if we dont send a team to a tournament then we dont exist. and you can play for years inside louisville and never become a great player no matter how hard you work. We have to go get our asses kicked in Ohio... even going to a tournament and beating Kentucky's teams means much less than a loss to the Ohio programs. But that just brings me back to the home tournament(last weekend) that was barely attended. Whats goin on here?
I guess i just feel like there should be some poeple from louisville that want to play with the college players and the old guard. We have alot of talent... more than enough talent. what we need is bodies. we gotta turn some unsuspecting louisvillians into Ultimate players. We need a bigger roster of potential players.

Hey. This would be a fantastic tune up for Poultry Days. And, as luck would have it, I'm going to be abandoned by my family that weekend. I see lots of tequilla shots and diving D in store--not necessarily in that order. So, all of you studs (and studettes???) get pumped to fly in Columbus.
