Apparently our star has risen in the ultimate community, because although we've been to three or four PDs, for the first time ever we have actually been granted a bid. Usually they deny us, and then call us up at the 11th hour when somebody else drops, at which point we scrabble around and try to throw a team together at the last second.

Everybody, and especially ladies, mark June 11th and 12th on your calendar. Cancel all appointments, all vacations, all weddings, all surgeries, all births, all funerals, all incarcerations, all prior obligations of any sort. We're going to the greatest tournament in the world.
